This program is all about serving our community. At GCC we are in love with Jesus, and we want the world to see Him in us. So at MNM we are all about showing the community that we love each other and that we love them, too. We are committed to this teaching of Jesus. John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
We have a 13 week schedule, which allows us to rotate this ministry 4 times a year. Everytime we have MNM, it's different.
Currently we have 3 ministries that you can help with on Monday Nights.
The first is the Food Ministry. We prepare food for anyone in the community who needs a meal. They are invited to the Annex to eat at 6 PM.
Secondly, we have an Involvment Ministry that is comprised of people in our church who come to the meal and sit with our guests and visit with them. After the meal we pull out games, put on some coffee, and enjoy each other's company. Our hope is to show the community Jesus, by caring about the people of Gilmer.
And third, we have a Visitation Ministry. These people write cards and take togo plates to shutin's and widow's in our community. They people meet at the Annex before the meal and gather togo plates and deliver them to those on the visitation list.
